What we do with your information

The short version: we collect very little, we do not track you, and we never sell anything to anyone.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

Your name, email address, subject and message. It is sent to us as an email and also stored on this website so we can find it again. We use it to reply to you, and for nothing else.

When you join the mailing list

Your name and email address. The sign-up form is run by Zeffy, a platform for nonprofits, and your details are held by them on our behalf rather than on this website. We use the list to send a few emails a year about concerts. Every one of them carries an unsubscribe link.

When you donate

Donations are handled entirely by Zeffy. Your card details never reach this website and we never see them. We do see who gave and how much, because we have to account for it and because we like to say thank you.

When you simply visit

Our web host keeps ordinary server logs, which record your IP address, the page you asked for and when. That happens on every website you visit, and we do not do anything with it.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Not to anyone, not ever, for any amount of money.

We do not run analytics. There is no Google Analytics on this site, no Tag Manager, no Facebook pixel, no session recording, no heatmaps. We genuinely do not know how many people visit or which pages they read.

We do not advertise, and we do not let anyone advertise to you here.

We do not set cookies of our own beyond the ones WordPress needs to serve the page. If you play the video on our home page, YouTube may set its own; we use their privacy-enhanced player, which does not load at all unless you scroll to it.

Who else is involved

A few services make parts of this site work, and each has its own privacy policy.

Zeffy runs our mailing-list sign-up and our donation form. They hold the names and email addresses of everyone on the list, and the record of every donation. Their forms are embedded in our pages, so when one is on screen it may set cookies of its own.

YouTube hosts the one video on our home page.

InterServer hosts the website and keeps the server logs described above.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are deleted from this website after six months. Long enough to pick up a conversation that went quiet, short enough that we are not sitting on a pile of other people’s messages.

In fairness, the copy that arrived in our inbox as an email may outlive that, in the way email does. If you would rather it did not, say so and we will delete it.

Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe, and removed when you do.

Donation records are kept for as long as charity and tax rules require us to keep them.

Asking us about your information

Write to privacy@tulsafestivalringers.org and ask. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, and we will reply within thirty days. You do not need to give a reason.

To leave the mailing list, the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails is quicker than writing to us, and works immediately.

Tulsa Festival Ringers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Oklahoma. If we change what is on this page, we will change the date below with it.
